CCPA / CPRA Notice for California Residents

This notice supplements our Privacy Policy and applies to residents of California under the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA"), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act ("CPRA").

1. Categories of personal information collected

In the last 12 months we have collected the following categories:

  • Identifiers — name, email, account ID, IP address.
  • Customer records — billing information (last 4 digits of payment method, invoice history).
  • Commercial information — subscription plan, purchase history.
  • Internet or network activity — pages visited, session logs, device and browser data.
  • Audio / electronic information — voice input streamed during practice sessions and the resulting transcripts.
  • Inferences — coaching scores and skill progress derived from your practice.

2. Sources

We collect this information directly from you, automatically as you use the service, and from service providers (payments, hosting, AI providers) that support the service.

3. Purposes

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Lenviva service.
  • Generate personalized coaching feedback.
  • Process payments and prevent fraud.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

4. Sale or sharing of personal information

We do not sell your personal information and we do not "share" it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined by the CCPA/CPRA. We have not done so in the past 12 months.

5. Sensitive personal information

We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information (as defined by the CPRA) for purposes other than those permitted without a right to limit under Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.121.

6. Retention

We retain each category only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose it was collected, as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Your California rights

  • Right to know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and (if applicable) sell or share.
  • Right to delete personal information we collected from you, subject to exceptions.
  • Right to correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (not applicable — we do not sell or share).
  • Right to limit use of sensitive personal information (not applicable — we do not use it for purposes that trigger this right).
  • Right to non-discrimination for exercising your rights.
  • Right to data portability — receive your information in a portable format.

8. How to submit a request

Email privacy@lenviva.app with the subject line "California Privacy Request". We will verify your identity using information already associated with your account. You may use an authorized agent by providing signed permission.

We respond within 45 days (extendable by another 45 days where reasonably necessary, with notice).

9. "Shine the Light" (Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.83)

We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.
